The friends witness a disappointing and dangerous sight. All of the fireworks for their town's Independence Day celebration are accidentally set off—and all at once! Still hopeful, they ask RK-5 to transport them to China, where the best fireworks in the world are made, so they can try to save the town's celebration. Fireworks safety is highlighted in the story.
