Keep Students' Reading Skills Sharp and Foster the Joy of Reading This Summer
The Learning A-Z Summer Reading Challenge gives kids the chance to strengthen their literacy skills after the school year ends by motivating them with special Summer Reading badges!
The Summer Reading Challenge:
- From June 2 to September 7, students read books from their Kids A-Z account.
- Students are challenged to earn summer-themed badges for finishing milestone numbers of books, that they can keep even after summer ends!
Why Participate?
- Access to quality books that give students a love of reading that extends beyond the summer.
- When students pick the books they read, they’re more likely to do just that—read!
- Students who read over the summer are more likely to retain the literacy skills they worked hard to develop throughout the school year.
How to Participate?
Students who have access to their Kids A-Z account this summer can read anytime, anywhere, whether they’re at school, at home, or on-the-go!
